We receive crime updates from our Neighborhood Watch Senior Lead Officer Mario Gonzales. These reports help the community to keep up with crime trends in our neighborhood.

Form a Neighborhood Watch Program on your block.   Watch out for each other.

Our two most serious crimes are burglaries and car break ins.

Make sure to leave lights on and radio or TV set on when you're not home. Install motion control lights in front of your house and in your backyard. Do not leave laptops, computers and other valuables in plain sight.

Remove all valuables from the interior of the car, since the majority of the car break ins were window smashes.

BURGLARIES:

2900 S Beverly Dr, occurred 12/21/11, 12:30 PM. Unknown suspect smashed rear glass door to gain entry into residence and removed property.

3300 Bagley Av, occurred 12/16/11, 9:00 AM. Unknown suspect pried open front door to gain entry into residence and removed property.

2600 S Bedford St, occurred 12/09/11, 7:00 PM. Unknown suspect pried open rear door of residence to gain entry and removed property.

8600 Cadillac Av, occurred 11/24/11, 6:00 AM. Unknown suspect kicked in garage door to gain entry to garage and removed a bicycle.

8900 Gibson St, occurred 12/08/11, 8:30 AM. Unknown suspect smashed rear window of residence to gain entry and removed property.

8600 Olin St, occurred 12/06/11, 9:00 AM. Unknown suspect pried off screen from window and entered through an open window. Suspects then removed property from residence.

8900 Olin St, occurred 11/29/11, 11:00 AM. Unknown suspect forced open rear bathroom window to gain entry to residence and removed property.

9800 National Bl, occurred 12/10/11, 2:00 PM. Unknown suspect opened unlocked car door to gain entry and removed a wallet.  

9000 Alcott St, occurred 12/20/11, 11:45 PM. Unknown suspect smashed passenger side window and removed a camera.

2900 Motor Av, occurred 12/20/11, 11:00 PM. Unknown suspect smashed passenger side window to gain entry and removed an IPOD.

2800 S Corning St, occurred 12/02/11, 7:00 PM. Unknown suspect smashed in passenger side window to gain entry and removed a stereo.
